The 2024 JCPRD Strategic Plan (Legacy Plan), shaped by community input, is less than 50% funded. The unfunded projects are critical to long-term sustainability, equitable access, and continued excellence in Johnson County's parks and recreation system.

JCPRD must continue to meet the needs and expectations of residents as rapid growth and development continues within the county. Your feedback is essential to understanding what initiatives are most important and deserve priority. Please indicate your level of support for each of the following items. Your responses will help guide future decisions and investments in the parks and recreation system.

01. Expand and improve trails and connectivity: to expand the regional Johnson County trail system to better link neighborhoods, parks, schools, and community destinations.

10. Enhance patron safety and security: to further invest in dedicated JCPRD park and facility security enhancements.
